Caroline’s Shiny Penny this week is in the food category! It’s hard to find a REALLY good veggie plate – you know- one that actually looks AND tastes great. Not one that you eat just because it’s good for you. Well, I found one at Anis Bistro in Buckhead recently.

First of all, the presentation was great when it came to the table. It was obvious that it was all super fresh. I asked that it be cooked with olive oil and no butter. It tasted so good! Nothing was soggy or overcooked. It was really perfect. I think my favorite part was the roasted tomatoes. Yum! I know that when you go to a French Bistro, this is probably not at the top of your list of things to choose for lunch, but after the holidays, I was really watching what I ate. This didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything because it was so tasty!

So, if you are a vegetarian, or just like to eat healthy, don’t miss Anis Bistro!
