What is Poshmark?

Poshmark is an easy to use app that you can use to buy or sell shoes, clothes and accessories. You can buy or sell men’s, women’s, junior’s and plus-sized fashion items. All you do is download the app on your Apple or Android device and create an account. You can search for brands you love so finding those brands’ items is easy. It also has size filters, so you won’t fall in love with an item that isn’t your size. By liking items that you are interested in, Poshmark will send you a notification if those items’ prices drop.

It Works

I personally used Poshmark to find my prom dress! I found a dress I loved on an expensive website. Luckily one of my friends told me about Poshmark, so I decided to look on there to see if the dress was being sold for less. After I searched the brand name and put on a size filter, there it was. I got an originally 300 dollar dress for just $100. I bought it from a girl who wore it to her prom a month earlier and wanted to get some of her money back for a dress she knew she would wear for only one night. The dress arrived two days after I ordered it.

Heads: Poshmark offers PoshProtect. This is a guarantee that if your item never arrives, you will get a full refund. It also means that if the item delivered to you does not match the description, you can get a full refund. All you have to do is notify your claim to Poshmark within three days after the delivery. Poshmark will then verify your claims and give you a refund.

Tails: When one of your items sells on Poshmark, the company will send you a pre-paid, pre-addressed label. Once you package your item, you can either drop it off at one of those blue USPS mailboxes or have it picked up at your home for free (if it does not fit in the USPS mailbox). What a great way to start purging your closet!
