Do you use Amazon to shop? If so, you are totally missing out if you don’t know about Amazon Smile.

How much of your holiday shopping did you do on Amazon? We did a large percentage of ours on Amazon. However, we actually used Amazon Smile instead of just Amazon Prime because we wanted to help one of our favorite charities. Same products, same prices, and yes, same Prime. But Amazon Smile donates a portion of the purchase price to the charity of your choice. It doesn’t cost you anything extra.

Simply go to smile.amazon.com from your web browser on your computer or phone. We bookmarked it to make it easy.

Most of the products are eligible for Amazon Smile. When you are shopping, click on a product to see its detail page. Eligible products say “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation.”  The AmazonSmile Foundation donates 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible purchase. We chose Cure Childhood Cancer.

The first time you go to Amazon Smile, it will prompt you to choose your charity. The system remembers this the subsequent times that you shop. It is easy to change your charity at any time as well.
